To recognize how the horse feels;
To help him find pleasure in his work;
For him to look forward to
human touch,
voice and
the human’s “being there”
(without treats, mind you);;
To help the horse realize the pride and joy of consistent, beneficial exercise;
For both horse and human to achieve profound satisfaction from effective two-way human-animal communication.
To recognize the unhappiness that anyone can see when these principles are neither recognized nor understood.
The horse gives us great joy as our partner, not as our slave.
Learning compassion for the horse enables us to be more empathetic with other humans and even with ourselves!
