Immerse and Learn

Anchorage Farm is a working horse ranch.  It is also a Bed and Breakfast!  In 2018-19 we are offering a special winter rate for those who would like to stay in the B&B and take riding lessons.  The rate below includes breakfast and one riding lesson per day.  (Additional lessons can be scheduled at the usual rate.)

Take advantage of this unique opportunity!  The proprietors have a combined 75 years of experience giving riding lessons and advancing their own learning.  Anchorage Farm is home to 13 horses.  These horses require daily turnout and stall cleaning.  Guests may observe riding lessons and horse training.  (Our observation area is heated as is our tacking-up area.)  Ask questions!  Guests may help groom horses.  Take advantage of our horse library.  Five of our horses are imported from Germany.  The proprietors also have twelve years of experience guiding people in seven different wilderness areas and six passes over 12,000 feet.  So ... ask questions about not just horse care, but dressage training and overnight pack trips as well.  We know the trails!

Anchorage Farm is also a peaceful place with plenty of nature to learn about and explore.

Your stay must be paid for in full by 12/31/18 and scheduled to take place before 3/1/19.  Please note that the same experience is available at other times of the year, but the above special rate only applies until 3/1/19.  A 4.5% tax will be added to the lodging portion of your stay.

When you make your reservation, please write "Immerse and Learn" in the notes.  Your rate will be adjusted accordingly.
